Fort Cavazos, Texas
SLA provided architectural consultant services to renovate approximately 99,843sf of Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facilities (TEMFs) at four locations on Fort Cavazos. The goal was to modernize four TEMF complexes to current standards, enhancing functionality and extending their useful life. The design focused on consolidating core functions and creating additional high bay spaces within existing bay wings to accommodate a new 10-ton bridge crane. This involved enlarging selected bays to standard widths and raising eave heights and integrated new high bay building structures into the existing facilities to support the cranes.
